At the end of the course, the student will be able to work in the following areas:

Listening Comprehension

Understand extended speech even when it is not clearly structured and when relationships are only implicit.

Oral interaction

Express themselves fluently and spontaneously without straining for expressions. Use language flexibly and effectively for social and professional purposes. Formulate ideas and opinions accurately and relate their interventions skilfully to those of other native and non-native speakers of English.

Reading comprehension:

Understand factual and literary texts and appreciate the differences in complex style. Understand specialised articles and technical instructions different from the participant’s field of specialization.

Oral expression:

Present clear and detailed descriptions of complex issues, developing concrete ideas and ending with an appropriate conclusion.

Writing

Write on a variety of topics, complex or not, highlighting important aspects and applying the appropriate writing style based on the document to be developed and considering the target audience.
